HVAC Cost Lab calculators run in your browser and do not require an account or email address. We do not sell project details to contractors.
Technical data
The hosting and security provider may process device, browser, requested-page, approximate-location, IP-address, timestamp, or similar technical data needed to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is active through automatic setup. Its performance beacon measures page loads and performance to report page views and visits. Reports can use dimensions such as country, path, referrer, device type, browser, and operating system. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not log query strings, use cookies or local storage for usage metrics, or track a person across its customers’ properties. Measurement of /embed routes is being reviewed separately.
Advertising and cookies
HVAC Cost Lab includes the Google AdSense publisher tag and may display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where permitted and consented. Your choices
You may limit cookies through browser settings and applicable consent controls. Blocking some technology may change advertising behavior but does not prevent use of the core calculators.
Data you enter
Calculator inputs and results are processed in the current browser session. They are not sent to HVAC Cost Lab, stored in its database, used as analytics events, or collected as contractor leads.
Contact and updates
The site does not currently provide a contact form or collect inquiries. This policy may be updated when services or legal requirements change, and its effective date will be revised for material changes.
